Job Description: Telemarketing Associate
Department: Tele-Marketing
Reporting To: Tele-Calling Team Manager / Team Leader
Location: Chennai
About the Role
The Telemarketing Associate acts as a key liaison between counsellors and parents, ensuring smooth coordination for school visits and resolving parent queries. This role is part of the central Tele-calling team, responsible for driving visit bookings, maintaining accurate records, and supporting counsellors in closing parent requirements efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Management & Productivity
- Achieve daily productivity benchmarks based on allocated leads.
- Meet minimum call targets as defined in the CRM.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and effective utilisation of all leads.
2. Visit Booking & Conversions
- Contact parents to schedule and confirm school visits.
- Drive conversion of visit bookings through callback management.
- Address parent queries and provide clarity to overcome objections.
3. Database & Reporting
- Maintain and update the parent interaction database, MIS, and status reports in the company system.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all data entries.
4. Target Achievement
- Deliver on weekly and monthly performance targets related to call volume, follow-ups, and visit conversions.
5. Parent Communication & Support
- Understand parent requirements and provide appropriate guidance.
- Handle objections tactfully and ensure a positive experience.
- Manage dispute resolutions and escalate concerns to the counselling Team Leader when required.
6. Coordination with Counselling Team
- Communicate parent requirements to the counselling Team Leader to support efficient closure.
- Follow up with the counselling team for completion of parent requests and keep parents informed until closure.
Skills & Qualifications (Optional)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle objections and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or willingness to learn.
